Please be advised that our branch will close early on Wednesday, 24th December (Christmas Eve) and Wednesday, 31st December (New Year’s Eve).
Locker access on these days will be available from 10:00 AM to 1:45 PM.

Kindly note that we will be closed on 25th, 26th, December and 1st January 2026.

Business will operate as usual on all other days.

We celebrated our second anniversary in the Croydon branch with The Worshipful Mayor of Croydon, Councillor Sherwan Chowdhury, Ima Miah of Asian Resource Centre, Arvindbhai Patel of BAPS and other guests from Asian Resource Centre, Croydon Gurdwara, Lohana Community, Sarvoday Hindu Association, Minar Jewellers, Croydon Tamil Sangam, Coversure Insurance, Metropolitan Police, Ismaili Jammat Khana, Croydon Gurdwara and South Croydon BAPS.

Our CEO, Anant Barchha, opened the reception and welcomed the guests to our celebration. He invited The Mayor to cut the cake and open the event formally. In his speech later, he gave a brief overview of Neelkanth Safe Deposit, its history, achievements and role in supporting local communities.

The Worshipful Mayor of Croydon, Councillor Sherwan Chowdhury cut the cake opening the event and giving the mayoral toast to inaugurate the function. He thanked Neelkanth Safe Deposit for opening such a great facility in Croydon and spoke about the importance of communicating the need for keeping valuables safe to the wider community. He cited examples of close friends and family who had lost high value jewellery as well as items of sentimental value after being burgled.

Ima Miah spoke about Asian Resource Centre Croydon and their 25-year history. She introduced the chairman, Jay Patel who has been pivotal to their work. She also thanked Neelkanth Safe Deposit for the strong relationship they had forged as well as sponsoring a series of mental health workshops by their Business Consultant Gurpreet Singh.

Arvindbhai Patel from BAPS,  the charity through which Neelkanth Safe Deposit sponsor multifarious activities and projects to support local communities, spoke about their history. He went on to list some of the UK and global initiatives undertook by BAPS and their 6000 plus volunteers. He highlighted how the profit donations from Neelkanth Safe Deposit and it’s mother company, Bank House Lockers, were being used in community projects and initiatives confirming our moto of “Securing Valuables and Serving the Community”.
